Louisiana Early Hearing Detection and Intervention (LA EHDI) Program
The Louisiana Early Hearing Detection and Intervention Program (EHDI) aims to ensure all infants who are deaf or hard of hearing can achieve their maximum potential in life. To accomplish this, the program ensures that families receive early detection and intervention services as soon as possible. Early interventions may include fitting babies for hearing aids or offering other developmental services before the child reaches six months.
